Congratulations! You are engaged!

Before you read on, take a deep breath and think of the love of your life and how you get to spend FOREVER with them. Awesome, right?

Jeffrey proposed to me on May 17th, 2019 and after the weekend of celebration with family and friends, I remember sitting down and focusing on two specific things: Budget + Venue.

Budget
Your budget is important because it gives you the framework for your wedding. Once you discuss who is paying for what and how much each party is contributing, you can total your budget and start dividing percentages. Venue

Now that you know your budget, it is time to pick a venue. By finding your venue, you are laying the groundwork of your wedding day. The venue helps you decide what aesthetics you want, how many people you can invite, and so many other things. Most importantly, your venue locks down your wedding date. Once you have your wedding date, you can start contacting vendors and booking them! AKA—Call me, beep me, it’s time to book!

Hopefully, these two tips were helpful in your wedding planning process! If you’d like to learn more about booking a wedding with me, click below!
